A family story shaped by Dominican stones
Caribbean Gemstones was founded in 2005 by me, a German, together with my Dominican wife. It grew from our shared love for the natural treasures of the Dominican Republic: Larimar with its ocean-blue calm and Dominican amber with its warm light, rare blue glow and fascinating inclusions.

After the passing of my wife, Caribbean Gemstones became more than a business. It became a family legacy. I continue this work with respect for the stones, the country and the people behind them, while my son is slowly growing into the company and carrying the story toward the next generation.
Our focus remains personal and honest: carefully selected stones, real photos, reliable service and long-term relationships with collectors, designers, retailers and B2B partners worldwide. Every stone is unique. For us, every stone also carries a part of our own story.
