This Dominican amber specimen contains a well-preserved small winged insect, most likely a true fly from the order Diptera. The inclusion has a compact, dark body with a clearly visible head, thorax, and rounded abdomen. Several slender legs remain preserved, and at least one transparent wing can be seen extending from the thorax.
The wing displays visible venation, although some structures overlap and are partially obscured by the surrounding resin.
